During our recent family vacation at Hotel Castelar, we discovered an inviting atmosphere ideal for families. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Rio de Janeiro, this hotel is a great starting point for exploring the city's many adventures. Our son, who is just 6 years old, particularly enjoyed the children's playground. It was well-maintained and provided a safe space for him to play and meet other young travelers. Nearby, the hotel's family pool area was a hit, with shallow sections that allowed us to relax while he splashed about. One evening, we took part in the hotel's organized family game night, fostering a sense of community among guests. It's always nice to create connections with other families, especially while on vacation. the on-site restaurant offered a kid-friendly menu, which included local dishes my son was eager to try. Our stay at Hotel Castelar was enjoyable. The family-friendly amenities and activities made it an excellent base for our adventure-seeking family. I recommend it to families looking for convenient access to both relaxation and exploration in this stunning city.
